Welcome to Kaizen PR & Communications

Kaizen is a Japanese word that roughly translates to “good change”. It has also come to encompass a belief that ongoing, incremental improvements lead to big, positive changes.

I chose Kaizen as the name for this business as I want to harness the power of strategic communication to create ‘good change’. I also believe that the Kaizen approach neatly describes my expertise – building, protecting, and enhancing the reputations of companies, people, and charities.

Kaizen is a strategic communications agency that specialises in PR, media relations, communication strategy, stakeholder engagement, content development, and issues management. We are also sustainability, climate change and ESG communication specialists.

Some communication agencies will claim a one-off, ‘big-bang’ communication campaign can turn your reputation around – I disagree. I believe the best way to build a reputation is through strategic, creative, and incremental multi-channel communication that is grounded in the truth – not in spin.

Ultimately, my goal is to deliver outstanding work, to be great to work with, and to help create ‘good change’ in the world. Already, our clients include multinational corporates, charities, entrepreneurial start-ups and politicians.

When it comes to creating ‘good change’:

  • I commit to working only with companies, people, public service organisations and NGOs that are committed to making the world a better place. This includes organisations that are evolving to meet the challenges and opportunities that await in a net-zero world. Kaizen will not work with organisations that are making the climate crisis worse or refuse to evolve.

  • The office locations I have chosen are all powered by 100% renewable energy. The co-working space and bank I chose are B-Corporations, and I select our suppliers carefully. Where fossil fuel powered transport is unavoidable, I will offset our emissions and try to reduce unnecessary travel. It’s not perfect, but in time I hope Kaizen becomes a B-Corporation.

  • Kaizen will give back to the community through donating a portion of profits every year.

  • As Kaizen expands, this company will be a diverse and equal opportunity workplace.
