Chris Williams - Founder and Director
Chris Williams is the Founder of Kaizen and a strategic communication, public relations, and sustainability communication specialist with nearly 20 years’ experience advising organisations across Australia, the UK, Asia, and Europe.
During his career, Chris has worked closely with companies, government departments, and high-profile leaders on strategic communications, media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management. Chris has supported organisations across multiple sectors, helping globally recognised brands launch products, reposition their market narrative, implement profile-raising campaigns, and manage complex media environments.
Chris has advised entrepreneurial and high-growth companies on brand positioning and long-term communications strategy. He has also managed media strategy in high-pressure and nationally significant election campaigns.
As a media training and stakeholder engagement advisor, Chris has prepared CEOs, Members of Parliament, athletes, and business founders to navigate media interviews, investor communications, and influencer engagement with clarity and confidence.
Chris is passionate about and has extensive experience in sustainability communication and ESG communication strategy, including supporting organisations in communicating sustainability initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations, securing national media coverage, and responding to reputational and environmental issues.

Ben Hornbrook - Principal Advisor
Ben Hornbrook is an experienced strategic communications advisor with nearly 20 years’ experience providing strategic counsel and communication support to leaders across the private, public, and non-profit sectors.
During his extensive career, Ben has worked with some of Australia’s largest companies, as well as federal and state government departments, ambitious scale-ups and leading not-for-profits, helping them enhance their impact through effective corporate communication, campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and media strategy.
Ben specialises in developing and implementing complex communication and stakeholder engagement strategies, crafting clear key messages and high-impact content, and managing integrated media relations and public relations campaigns.
He has experience across a broad range of industries including financial and professional services, technology, energy, telecommunications, health and wellbeing, education, and sport. In particular, he is proud to have played a pivotal role in helping Australia’s largest insurer raise awareness of climate change impacts and promote community preparedness, conceiving and implementing an award-winning national climate communication campaign that secured thousands of pieces of media coverage.
Ben has also supported a range of organisations to articulate their sustainability communication and ESG positioning, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and achieve recognition for their progress.
